During my time at the Dorset Echo I helped to set up a weekly newspaper column with People First Dorset - a charity helping adults with learning disabilities. One of my proudest achievements to date.

In October I ran a half marathon for Dorset People First and wrote a press release to boost my fundraising efforts. This featured across local media.

Following on from an earlier feature in the Bournemouth and Dorset Echo with Mr Lovelock, I was approached by Dorset Life who commissioned a further article.

I worked with La Vie spa to manage their social media and create content for their website. This is the first press release created for the launch of their new spa consultancy, which featured in the Business Briefing.

The first of four articles I wrote for the community radio station. The idea was to build up momentum for their brand ahead of their annual fundraiser Party In The Park. This also appeared in Just About Dorset Magazine and View From series.

I worked with Rely Ltd across a six-month period to raise their profile in the local business community. During this time Mrs Cooksey won Woman in Business 2017 with the Dorset Echo.

In addition, I liaised with the business editor to organise this speaking opportunity.

In addition, a targeted press release also featured in the Bournemouth Echo, in the business press locally and online via Executive Grapevine.

I travelled to Auschwitz with a school party as part of the Lessons from Auschwitz project. Please see below for more feature examples.

I spent a week in Cyprus with local Army Reservists on exercise.

We ran two campaigns to try and save our local coastguard station and helicopter. Both times involved great collaboration with the local community.
